Some of its meetings and services will continue despite it not being able to secure long term funding
Voices for All charity, formerly known as Rochdale Boroughwide User Forum (RBUF), has announced it will close on 26 April due to a lack of continuation funding.
The charity is a mental health and wellbeing charity which has a mission to drive social change so those who are “excluded have the same opportunities as everyone else to live happy, healthy and active social lives”.
Some services will continue in Rochdale including its art and craft group at Sparth Community Centre, Colour Yourself Calm continue at The Brentwood Centre and the Asian LGBT Group at Touchstones.
A statement on the charity’s website read: “We are sorry to announce that Voices For All will be closing down on Friday 26th April 2019 due to the lack of any continuation funding. We have arranged for several of our groups to continue at venues across the borough, that you can still have access to.
“We’d like to thank those who have supported us over the years and wish everyone well for the future.”
